A benefit beyond the visit

Know what the plan is. Know what it is not.

The Rojek / ONIT Home materials describe a complimentary, limited homeowner plan following an eligible paid completed inspection. It is separate from the inspection and comes with activation and coverage conditions.

The limited plan

90 days, with defined terms.

The Inspector Protection Plan describes certain covered home systems and appliances for a limited period. Home Warranty of the Midwest, Inc. services and underwrites the plan. Coverage has exclusions, limits and conditions; it is not a promise that every component is covered, and it does not turn the visual inspection into a warranty on the home.

The complimentary plan must be activated within 14 days of the inspection. Read the provider's full terms for eligibility, coverage, exclusions, claim procedures and any applicable fees. If a term matters to your decision, use the provider documents rather than a short marketing summary.

Separate assistance

Move-in help is not warranty coverage.

ONIT's concierge-style assistance can help clients compare moving bids, connect utilities, explore internet and cable pricing, obtain insurance quotes and claim history information, and consider other home-service options. These are assistance and quote services; do not assume that a product is free or that savings are guaranteed.

Keeping the two benefits distinct makes it easier to know whom to contact and what each actually provides.
