Illustrative residential utility area with visible home systems; not an actual Rojek inspection

The right look for the question at hand.

Explore the full range of Rojek residential inspection and testing services. Choose a whole-home view or a more focused answer, with scope discussed clearly before the visit.

Choose the right question

Start with the home. Then get specific.

Buying a home, living in one and evaluating a particular concern are different situations. Rojek Home Services offers a general home inspection and separate targeted services so you can ask for the information that fits the property. We serve Cook, DuPage, Will, Grundy and Kendall counties with a real team who can discuss timing and scope before you book.

A visual inspection is not an umbrella promise about concealed conditions. Radon needs a measurement; a sewer line may need a camera; suspected moisture or wood-destroying organisms may call for a dedicated conversation. Use the guide below to choose a starting point, then tell us what you already know and what you want to understand.

Seven ways to see more clearly.

01

The whole-home conversation

Home Inspections

For a purchase, a sale or a better understanding of the home you already own. The team reviews readily accessible exterior, interior, structural and mechanical components, documents visible observations and makes room for your questions. A home inspection is a careful snapshot of what can be observed that day—not a prediction of every future repair or a substitute for specialist testing.

Independent eyes for a new home

New Construction Inspections

A newly built property brings together many trades, finishes and systems. An independent inspection can document accessible conditions and help you frame specific questions for your builder. Because access, timing and builder processes differ, bring your project schedule when you contact us. Our role is to report what is visible, not to replace municipal inspections, contractual obligations or the builder’s own quality process.

03

Before the builder’s first-year window

11-Month Warranty Inspections

After a year of seasons and daily use, you know more about the home than you did at closing. An inspection before a builder-warranty deadline can document current visible conditions for a timely conversation with the builder. Your warranty documents—not the inspector—define notification dates, coverage and repair decisions. This service is separate from the limited ONIT homeowner benefit.

04

A measurement sight cannot provide

Radon Testing

Radon cannot be seen or smelled, so a visual home inspection cannot tell you the level in a particular house. Testing supplies a result for the test period that buyers and owners can consider alongside current public-health guidance. Ask about arranging this separate service with a home inspection or for a home you already live in; we will discuss the right request for your situation.

A closer question about the buried line

Sewer Scope Inspections

The sewer line beneath a property is beyond a standard visual inspection’s reach. A separate sewer scope may provide a view into accessible portions of the line and help identify observations that deserve further discussion. Access and visibility vary by property; the service is not a guarantee that every hidden section can be seen or that a future blockage cannot occur.

Look at moisture with context

Mold Testing

A recurring odor, a water event or suspected growth can leave a homeowner with a specific question. Our targeted mold-testing conversation starts with the history and accessible moisture conditions, then considers what testing could add. A result has limits and does not establish that every hidden space is free of growth. Share what you have noticed when you book so the scope is discussed clearly.

Visible wood and pest clues

WDO / Pest Inspections

When wood-destroying organisms or their possible signs are a concern, request a focused inspection rather than assuming they are covered by a general home visit. The work concerns accessible evidence and the next questions to ask about affected wood. It is not a pest-treatment service, an assurance that concealed activity is absent or a prediction about what may happen later.

Beyond the purchase

Other moments worth a look.

A pre-listing inspection may help a seller understand visible conditions before a buyer visits. A re-inspection may revisit an accessible component after work was performed. Owners can also ask about annual maintenance inspections or whether thermal imaging is appropriate to a particular question. Each request has a scope that should be discussed rather than assumed; if an item calls for a qualified trade or specialist, an inspection does not replace that work.

Unsure where to begin? Give us the property address, your timing and the concern that prompted the call. We will help you compare a whole-home visit with a targeted service, and explain what can reasonably be evaluated when the team arrives. See our company approach and meet the people behind it.

A different kind of property

Commercial inspections have their own door.

Offices, retail, industrial and multifamily buildings bring different stakeholders, systems and proposal needs. Explore the commercial overview, then contact the dedicated RHS Commercial Inspections operation directly. The residential Spectora scheduler on this site is not a commercial proposal form.
